Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ApplyMongus iOS application and related services ("the Service"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these Terms.

2. What the Service does

ApplyMongus drafts personalized job application emails based on the profile, CV, and preferences you provide, using job listings from public job boards. Emails are sent either manually through your own Mail app or, if you enable auto-send, automatically on your behalf via our relay when a recruiter email address is available for a listing.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Free — basic features at no charge.
• Pro — $12.99 per month.
• Pro Max — $19.99 per month.

Paid subscriptions are purchased through, and billed by, Apple via your App Store account. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Prices may change; Apple will notify you before any price change takes effect and you can cancel first. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under their policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).

4. No guarantee of results

ApplyMongus is a tool that helps you apply for jobs. It does not and cannot guarantee interviews, offers, employment, or any response from employers. Hiring decisions are made entirely by employers and recruiters. Any statistics or examples shown in the app or its marketing are illustrative, not promises.

5. Acceptable use

The Service sends emails on your behalf, from you. You are the sender, and you are responsible for the content of every email and for choosing appropriate recipients. You agree to:

• Use the Service only for genuine job applications, not for marketing, solicitation, harassment, or any form of spam.
• Provide truthful information in your profile and CV. Misrepresenting your qualifications is on you, not us.
• Respect the usage caps: a maximum of 25 application emails per day applies across all tiers. Attempting to circumvent caps may result in suspension.
• Review auto-send settings responsibly — emails sent by auto-send are treated as sent by you.
• Not reverse-engineer, abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service, and not use it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, with or without notice, to protect recipients and the integrity of the Service.

6. Your content

You own your profile, CV, and the application emails generated for you. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service (for example, generating drafts and delivering auto-send emails). We claim no other rights to your content.

7. Third-party services

Job listings come from public job boards we do not control; we make no guarantees about their accuracy, availability, or that a listing is still open. AI drafting is provided via the Anthropic API as described in our Privacy Policy. Payments are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every email will be delivered or read.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, lost profits, or lost employment prospects, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us through the App Store in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
